Changelog

Everything that has changed in Dit, version by version. Updates are free for life and install themselves from within the app.

How do I update? Nothing to do. Dit checks on its own and offers you the new version at startup. If you prefer, you can also download the latest version and install it over the old one: your licence and your settings are kept.

Version 1.3.11

Current October 6, 2026

Dit is much faster on computers without a graphics card.

  • • On a PC without a graphics card, Dit now uses a new speech model that is much faster and more accurate. It installs by itself.
  • • The free trial no longer gets blocked when the computer is renamed or after some Windows updates.
  • • The diagnostic report now includes the computer’s setup for faster support.

Version 1.3.10

September 7, 2026

Licence fix after some Windows updates.

  • • A Windows update could wrongly show a licence error. The licence now repairs itself.
  • • New diagnostic report in About, to send to support if something goes wrong.

Version 1.3.9

September 3, 2026

Your licence key within easy reach, and the move from Dit to Dit Pro without reinstalling.

  • • App settings stay accessible at all times.
  • • Your licence key is now visible and copyable from the settings. Handy when you switch computers.
  • • You can enter a key at any time, including during the free trial.
  • • Activation takes effect immediately, no restart needed.
  • • Moving from Dit to Dit Pro can be done straight from the app.

  • • Descriptions reworked to match what you actually get in daily use.
